How To Add AddOn Domains In HostGator 2021

As a first step, you have to Login to your HostGator Cpanel. You will see the “Addon Domains” under the Domains section. You can follow the below screenshot of better understanding. Click on this to start adding your new domain in the HostgGator Addon section.

You can see now I am going to create an Addon Domain in HostGator. Enter your new domain name, and the Subdomain and Document Root will automatically generate for you.

You will see the below screenshot feature come with “Create an FTP account associated with this Addon Domain”. Here you can create a dedicated FTP account for your domain. Make sure you selected this option.

If you are don’t know the mean of FTP (File Transfer Protocol), that is the standard network protocol used to transfer the computer files between clients and servers on a computer network.

You need to continue creating an FTP username and password. You can create your password by yourself or Click on Password generate. My suggestion is to Click on “Password Generator,” and it will create a strong password for you.

Click on “Add Domain,” and now you have successfully added and additional add-on domain in Hostgator.

You will see the list of all the domains in the section of the “Modify Addon Domain” that you currently have created with HostGator. Here also you can easily modify and manage Redirection of all the addon domains.
